Kambi is my favourite card on Gwent ever (as you can see by my profile pic). On closed beta i waited 3 months to see if i got him on a drop till i gave up and crafted him. This time, i got tremendous luck and got it on a Keg on the 3rd day!

To the amateur Gwent player, this card seems like it's terrible. Zero attack power and no extra bonus? But, that's the beauty of Kambi. It's not just a simple waste of a play. Rather, it hides something a little extra up its sleeve. This card, when removed from the field, will summon a powerful entity.
Kambi is also the name of a rock off the coast of Hindarsfjall. Kambi appears to be based on Gullinkambi of Norse mythology. In the Blood and Wine expansion, there is a gwent card that bears its Kambi Careers .

If the kambi player wants to keep card advantage, and they usually do, they need either bears or weather to trigger kambi. If you make sure to get rid of the bears and weather, kambi posters will have a bad time. You should also ping the cow as soon at some point before the last rounds.
